Open Doors Training equips non-medical, youth-serving professionals with the skills and tools to engage young people in honest, supportive conversations about substance use and other behavioral health challenges. Grounded in harm reduction, restorative justice, cultural humility, and youth autonomy, we help adults build trust, respond with compassion, and honor young people’s lived experiences as they support them in meeting their complex needs.
Open Doors is developed and implemented by the California Alliance of Child & Family Services’ Catalyst Center and is funded by the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) through the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI).
